Information Letter

Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University traditionally conducts International Conferences “Relevant Issues of Forensic Psychological Expertise and Complex Forensic Examination” where a wide range of modern fundamental issues of forensic psychological expertise are discussed.

The subject matter of the 4th International Conference “Relevant Issues of Forensic Psychological Expertise and Complex Forensic Examination” is “Modern Computer Technologies in Expert Practice”. It is devoted to the problems, perspectives, and advanced experience of implementing computer technologies in expert practice. Special attention is to be focused on the issues of validity and reliability of computer vision Intellectual technologies while conducting forensic psychological expertise and multidisciplinary cooperation among forensic experts. The Conference is funded by RFBR, project №18-013-01045.

The Conference main research areas

  1. Modern methods of creating forensic psychological expertise.
  2. Objective psychodiagnostic methods in experimental research (including the use of computer vision intellectual technologies).
  3. Hardware and software in forensic psychological expertise and Multidisciplinary Psychology Expert Evidence.

Venue: 22/48, Stepan Razin Str., Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University, Kaluga, Russia. The Conference is to be held in an on-line format.

Dates: December 18-19, 2020.

December 18 – the opening ceremony of the conference, plenary reports, and round tables for the conference research areas.

December 19 – Panel discussion for forensic psychologists, conference closing ceremony.

Ways of participating in the Conference:

  • Delivering a plenary report on one of the conference research areas (15 minutes).
  • Making a speech at a panel discussion (5-7 minutes).

The working languages are Russian and English. The registration is free by any link:

The conference participant needs to include the name of his/her report/speech and abstracts (up to 300 words) in the registration form.

Deadline: December 5 (plenary reports) and December 10 (panel discussion). 

Authors are to be informed about the results of the peer-viewing within seven days after filing their abstracts.

The International conference participants are to be certified. As the conference result it is planned to publish a special issue of journal “Kaluga University Bulletin. Psychology&Education” journal. In order to have your article published in the journal special issue it is necessary to file your article to the organizational committee’s e-mail conference-hw@tksu.ru until December 15, 2020.
