Psychology in China: lecture of Professor Buxin Han, President, Asian Psychology Association

26 November 2024 Buxin Han, Professor of the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of the Asian Psychological Association, member of the Chinese Psychological Association, gave a lecture at the Department of Psychology of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. 

In his lecture professor Buxin Han described the history of psychological science in China and the founding of the Chinese Psychological Society. He discussed the current state of the science and main research directions. In his speech, professor Buxin Han emphasized the irreducibility of the psyche to the study of the brain, as well as the enormous role of culture, which influences human development.
