VII Congress of the Russian Psychological Society and the All-Russian Psychological Forum
On September 28, 2022, the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (UrFU) hosted the opening of the VII Congress of the Russian Psychological Society (RPS) and the All-Russian Psychological Forum, which were attended by over a thousand specialists from 70 regions of the Russian Federation. The official opening ceremony was held in the Assembly Hall of UrFU.
Welcoming speeches were given by Rector of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin, Viktor Koksharov, and President of the Russian Psychological Society, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Director of the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education, Full-member of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Yuri Zinchenko.
The attendees of the Forum and the Congress received greetings from representatives of government bodies and psychological societies and associations of several countries.

President of the Russian Psychological Society Yuri Zinchenko gave a presentation “On the Activities of the Russian Psychological Society”, in which he reflected the main achievements of the Society for the last five years and presented the relevant directions of its development. Pavel Ermakov, the First Vice-President of the Russian Psychological Society, made a presentation on the theme “The Russian Psychological Society: New Geopolitical Challenges and Risks of Information Uncertainty”.
As an Honorary Member of the Russian Psychological Society Buxin Han, Professor of the Institute of Psychology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of the Asian Psychological Association, Vice-President of the Chinese Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics was elected.
During three days more than 50 sessions, round-tables and open lectures took place, which gave a unique opportunity to present results of research and establish collaboration.
