We are pleased to announce the end of the work of the I International Psychological Forum "Child in the Digital World"!

24 hours of the Forum sessions in three languages were devoted to the issues of sustainable development of children and adolescents in the context of the transformation of childhood against the background of digitalization of modern society.

More than 12 thousand specialists from 90 countries united online at the Forum. Within the Forum, more than 800 abstracts were submitted, about 200 applications were approved, and more than 80 presentations of prominent Russian and foreign scientists took place, Francisco Pons (Norway), Purnima Singh (India), Candido Alberto Da Costa Gomes (Portugal), Roger Säljö (Sweden), Iram Siraj (UK), Michael Cole (USA), Linda Theron (South Africa), Ingrid Pramling Samuelsson (Sweden) made their contributions.

Within the framework of the I International Psychological Forum "Child in the Digital World" 19 symposia were held, where domestic and foreign scientists discussed issues of digital socialization and the role of family and teachers in this process, digitalization of childhood and the educational process, building individual trajectories of development for children with special educational needs , children's play, cultural context and the role of the language environment in child development, as well as contemporary research. The interdisciplinary interaction of colleagues, inspired by the common goal of ensuring the sustainable development of future generations against the background of the digitalization of society and the transformation of modern childhood, made it possible to immerse themselves in the problems of interaction of the child with ICT, and thus, on the basis of existing data, outline new research lines, which have already been agreed upon by the specialists who participated in the Forum.

In his greeting, the President of the Russian Psychological Society, Dean, Facult of Psychology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Director of the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education Yuri Zinchenko noted the importance of developing this area of research and measures to limit the negative impact of the digital environment. Pam Maras, member of the British Science Council and President of the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS), highlighted the need to integrate psychological science in today's global digitalisation. Christoph Steinbach, President of the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA), in his greeting, supported the initiative to hold the Forum as a significant event for the psychological community.

The forum, initiated by the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education with the Faculty of Psychology of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Russian Psychological Society, was supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS), European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA), Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP).
