Opening of the VI International Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education» (ECCE 2017)

On May 11th 2017 grand opening of the VI International Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education» (ECCE 2017) was held in Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The Conference was supported by the Russian Ministry of Science and Education, the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the Russian Academy of Education, the Russian Psychological Society and the World Bank.

The opening plenary session participants were

Viktor A. Sadovnichiy, rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University,

Lyudmila A. Verbitskaya, president of the Russian Academy of Education, president of St.Petersburg State University,

Yury P. Zinchenko, president of the Russian Psychological Society, vice-president of the Russian Academy of Education,

Lyubov N. Dukhanina, vice-chairperson of the Russian State Duma committee on education and science, head of “Znaniye” society,

Sergey I. Ivanov, vice-chairperson of the executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

Elena Yu. Lozhkina, head of the division for normative regulation and development of preschool education at the department of state policy in general education, the Russian Ministry of Science and Education,

Georgy P. Kostyuk, chief independent consultant psychiatrist of the Moscow Healthcare Department,

Antonio Puente, president of the American Psychological Association,

Francisco Santolaya, president of the Spanish Psychological Association.

Delegates from 25 countries worldwide and 75 regions of Russia participated in the Conference.
